Corporate IT Strategy 2012 - Public v Private Sector IT

Public sector IT departments to focus on cost cutting, efficiencies and demonstrating value in 2012.

Summary

This survey indicates that the corporate IT industry is moving away from cost cutting as a business strategy and moving towards a more positive outlook of organic growth through new markets and new products.  Innovation, consumerisation and cloud computing are all priority strategies for 2012 whilst Public Sector IT is focussing on cost cutting, efficiencies and demonstrating business value.  Key findings show that Public Sector IT continues to look for savings and Private Sector IT is looking to new markets.
