In mergers, acquisitions, and disposals the IT costs exceed the combined costs of advisors and lawyers. IT costs can be 5% of the disposal costs, and range from 3%-10%. This was the finding of one major global organisation that had done over twenty completed deals.

During this discussion, hosted by the Corporate IT Forum, seven senior IT professionals representing eight organisations shared their combined experience of 41 years. The organisations present represented industries including manufacturing, engineering, utilities and publishing.
