Optimising business processes is an ongoing challenge for many corporate IT departments. While most IT leaders would argue that this is a necessary and important part of IT project management, process optimisation is often viewed with suspicion by colleagues in the business, and securing stakeholder buy-in for process changes is extremely difficult, along with securing support from an 'owner' of a process.
