Summary

Delivering ‘Value for Money’ from supplier relationships remains critical for corporate IT. HP is a key IT supplier for many enterprises, and the relationship between the business and HP is crucial to success.

The nature of the strategic relationship is central, and there may be both difficulties and significant positives here. Governance can clearly help frame the relationship and contracts, but how effective is this in practice? Other key questions also need to be considered – is there good engagement with the business? What are the issues around negotiation and re-negotiation?

Understanding relationships with service providers has been an ongoing focus amongst Forum members, as evidenced by this recent Q&A discussion.  This workshop will give a unique insight into these and other issues, as well as provide the opportunity to share and learn from the experience of corporate IT peers - the goal is to help develop a better relationship with HP.
