IT Supplier Management
Free sample report
This is a short version of the full Reality Checker report which highlights a relatively immature function with KPIs and SLAs not driving the required behaviours to achieve Business Strategies.
Respondents to this survey have, collectively, over 800 years experience with IT Supplier Management.
In February 2012 The Corporate IT Forum conducted a Reality Checker survey to understand the structures in place, process maturity, governance and how strategic suppliers are working in partnership with the Business to achieve their goals. Key findings show there is no universally accepted view of what supplier management is or who is involved.
- Supplier Management immature - only a third claim mature process.
- A quarter embraces niche suppliers.
- Corporates are endeavouring to 'add value' with supplier relationships.
- KPIs measured aren't promoting required behaviour.
- Large disconnect between satisfaction with supplier and measurements in place.
