The report illustrates the many different approaches taken to cross charging for IT services, the challenge is to pick the approach that will work in your organisation. There are also some organisations who feel cross charging is inappropriate and that this is not the only or best way to establish corporate governance over IT spending.

Summary

Charging, its implementation, and delivery of desired benefits, is a complex and difficult process. It can be done and achieve very positive benefits, but there is a cost and a number of preconditions for its success. This event will enable participants to share best practice in this difficult but important area.
