Social Networking as a Business Tool |
||
Question
Do you use any social networking sites (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) as a business tool?
Most organisations are either experimenting with social media tools - or they're blocking their use completely.
A number are trying out Yammer, which has a good reputation for breaking down silos, fostering discussion and gauging opinion. But many also say the same thing: there is a flurry of initial activity and then interest drops off. It is a slow - and possibly counterproductive - process to try and get others to join. Mandating social media rarely works.
