Download the Output Report from this Corporate IT Forum discussion focussing on SharePoint 2010.
Summary
Discussions during and after the previous SharePoint workshop in May 2011 have highlighted that many organisations still have migrating to SharePoint 2010 on their roadmap, and some members have implemented it already. Some are even thinking ahead to the next version, expected in 2013.
This workshop, which included department heads, application and service management managers involved in assessing or managing SharePoint, featured two speakers from Travis Perkins and East Sussex County Council, and discussed previous and current experiences of migration, including the progression of the social elements of SharePoint 2010.
This report has been compiled from a Corporate IT Forum discussion attended by 31 IT professionals representing 17 organisations with a combined experience of SharePoint totalling 68 years.
