PCI DSS: A Conference for Merchants

This survey was conducted prior to the Information Security Service's PCI DSS: Conference for Merchants that took place on 10th June 2009 in London. The aim of this survey was to investigate the current compliance status of large corporate and public sector organisations in relation to the Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Summary

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) will impact and apply to many more people and organisations than originally anticipated. If you think about how many people there are trying to sell you something today, and the number of organisations that accept and process payment card transactions, you will begin to appreciate that the numbers are large and the influence is far reaching.
