Mobile working is all about freedom and simplicity. New technologies are making it easier to access information and work regardless of location, but is this the experience of our members? Managing and provisioning your knowledge and field workers can be a challenge. What do you give them, how do you give it to them, how much does it cost to give it to them, and can you deactivate it if it gets lost or stolen?

Summary

Managing mobile phones and delivering mobile strategy has risen to the top of the IT must-do agenda with its importance driven by a desire for mobility on behalf of the employee, a must-access need for data and in the case of the iPhone, a must-have desire on the behalf of all-grade workers alike, from new middle-managers to top-line executives, bringing a consumer mobile experience into a corporate environment.
