This report is based on a presentation delivered by a Project Manager of a major airline about a project which was the Innovation Category winner in the Forum's Real IT Awards in 2008.
Summary
Innovation for Business benefit and the opportunities offered by and supported through
IT was not simply the theme of this Webinar and a category in the Awards Programme.
It's a subject members have collectively explored a number of times over recent years,
and the output from this event will include links to previous reports, recommendations
and case study presentations. The project on which this presentation was based - to
paraphrase one of the Real IT Awards judges comments - ‘had a real impact on
increased sales and optimised staffing levels and as such, delivered not only the
customer satisfaction (100%) tick but the true business value tick.'
