Skills and people development is recognised in most organisations as vital to sustainable success. Yet during difficult economic times it is tempting to overlook long-term value for short-term cost reductions. If you want to add real value to your organisation you need a measure of the benefits you derive from knowing how the people you employ enable the business to perform to its full potential. This workgroup session sets out to facilitate a closer relationship between the IT and HR communities, within your organisation, to work in collaboration to maximise staff performance utilising a proven "balanced scorecard" technique.

Objectives

Delegates will gain an understanding of how to effectively use the Balanced Scorecard approach for strategic and individual performance development & management. They will also gain skills to enable them to plan and begin to construct a Balanced Scorecard for their own organisation.

Who should attend

As this event aims to build a partnership and a common understanding of objectives and capabilities, the workshop is aimed at both IT and HR representatives from organisations. Delegates should bring to the event a Business Plan and related performance objectives that they are prepared to share in the confidential confines of the Corporate IT Forum.
