In the past, information security has sometimes been perceived as restrictive and an inhibitor to business development. This award is to highlight and celebrate the positive role that security can play in enabling the business to develop, expand, and operate efficiently and effectively.
Judging Criteria
The judges will be looking for the submission which demonstrates how security has brought or enabled outstanding value to the business through one or a combination of security features which:
- provide additional benefits to the business such as improved resource and asset management
- allow wider, faster, easier and more flexible access to information and services
- allow radical changes to business operation such as adoption of new technologies and access to new markets.
Attention will be given to the project in the context of the organisation’s size, the business value delivered and how it was achieved, and the relevance of the security features within the submission.
