Corporate IT Forum workshops are requested by and specifically designed for IT professionals striving for best practice in the corporate environment. Free from supplier involvement, delegates receive real-world information from experienced and unbiased peers.

Continued pressure on public sector spending has forced IT professionals to question all costs and to pursue different ways of delivering excellent IT to the public sector without compromise.

Shared services and supplier management continue to be key areas of focus, whilst many public sector organisations are now also looking at the opportunities presented by the use of Cloud.  No matter which area you focus on, it is essential to ensure that cost savings are identified and delivered.

Summary:

This workshop, the third in the series of the Forum's programme to help public sector organisations do more with less - will support public sector IT managers by investigating key topics and providing 'real life' success stories.

Objectives:

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and build on peers' experience, share knowledge and to discuss the pros, cons and pitfalls of cost saving.

Who should attend:

IT managers and professionals in the public sector who are interested in improving efficiencies, delivering service excellence and doing more with less.

Agenda:

As with all Corporate IT Forum workshops, the final agenda will be shaped by delegates to match their specific business needs.  The workshop is aimed at specialists but anyone with an interest in these areas will benefit.
  • Supplier Management & Retained Organisation
  • Moving to the Cloud
  • Getting Value from and Increasing Shared Services
  • Application Rationalisation
  • Commercial Awareness - ICT Spend Transparency and Reporting
