The Corporate Network: Fit for Purpose?

Workshop

When:
18 Jan 2012
(Past)
Ref:
W953

As organisations move towards a more flexible and remote way of working keeping up with the demands made on the network is a challenge.

Summary:

The demands placed on corporate networks have risen steeply as capabilities expand from accommodating only data to including messaging, video and voice. With the uptake of virtualisation and cloud computing, the network has reached a critical status as the spine of the business.

But as organisations move towards a more flexible and remote way of working, and an increasingly unified approach to communications, can the corporate network cope with the demands placed on it? What alternatives and future developments are there? Is intelligent infrastructure a reality and how does it help?

Join The Corporate Network - fit for purpose? workshop to discuss the changes affecting corporate networks and new approaches to network provision and management. With input from organisations in different sectors and industries, you will discover the latest thinking and practical examples, as well as the knowledge to assess your current and future network demands, and react or plan accordingly.

Objectives:

Join a no-holds-barred discussion that examines current and future strategies and tactics, the current challenges, costs, and the solutions that work for enterprises today.

Who should attend:

Anyone with a key interest in the evolving role of the Network in today's corporate environment.

Agenda:

The final agenda will be developed through consultation amongst attending delegates, but possible agenda items for discussion will include:
