Proving the value of a PMO is a common challenge.  Broadening the remit of the PMO to include all business projects and evolving its scope to cover project, programme and portfolio management - the rise of the 3PMO - is currently being tackled by large organisations.

Regional and local projects should be run to deliver benefit to the business not just localised benefits on a small scale. Reporting on these benefits and monitoring the change that projects bring is an essential part of a project office but bringing about this change in culture can be difficult.

Objectives:

Delegates will be able to discuss differing remits and challenges facing the PMO as well as agree best practice around reporting on benefits delivered and value provided.

Who should attend:

Project Officers and Heads of PMO interested in maturing their process and developing the capability of their programme office.

Agenda:

Potential Agenda:

  • Remit of the PMO
