Managing data is nothing new - but the volume of data that is now accessible and being produced is reaching unexpected highs.  With this explosion of data there is the possibility to gain an unrivalled understanding of what the Business / customer wants and needs.

But to reach this goal strategies and process have to developed and implemented and considerable hurdles over come including identifying individuals with the right skills set to analyse the data.
